📋 Description

• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work responsibilities, estimate contents, and critical project tasks • Develop and issue RFPs to qualified vendors and subcontractors • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals before the bid review process • Calculate quantity take-offs, material prices, labor costs, equipment costs, and specialty items • Manage projects from concept to completion, including environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way, acquisition, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout

🎯 Requirements

• Seasoned experience in estimating or managing T&D, substation, or utility construction work • Proficiency in developing and issuing RFPs to qualified vendors and subcontractors • Ability to review specifications and drawings to establish scope of work, estimate contents, and critical project tasks • Ability to calculate quantity take-offs, material prices, labor costs, equipment costs, and specialty items • Experience with environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way, acquisition, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and project closeout
