📋 Description

• Lead key aspects of Kyndryl's quarterly and annual global income tax provision process under ASC 740 • Consolidate worldwide tax results and prepare supporting analyses • Partner with regional tax managers on non-US tax positions, current and deferred tax accounts, uncertain tax positions, and jurisdiction-specific matters • Review outsourced service providers' tax provision calculations, workpapers, and deliverables • Prepare and review tax account reconciliations and documentation • Analyze quarterly and annual effective tax rates, significant drivers, and trends • Support cash tax forecasts and related reconciliations • Prepare and review ASC 740 disclosures for Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings materials, and other external reporting • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and External Reporting teams on tax implications • Support accounting and reporting for valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, transfer pricing, restructurings, acquisitions, and divestitures • Manage tax-related journal entries and financial statement presentation • Coordinate with external auditors on audit requests, technical discussions, and review procedures • Build relationships across Kyndryl's global tax organization and support regional teams and finance stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required • 6+ years of experience in a Big 4 firm and/or an in-house tax department • Strong demonstrated experience in tax accounting • Experience with ASC 740 and US multinational operations is required • Occasional travel to the Rye Brook, NY office may be required for meetings • CPA, MST, or LLM is preferred • People management experience is not required
