📋 Description

• Solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across platforms and services • Manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance • Oversee an assignment queue and work directly with technicians • Prioritize tickets to deliver effective client solutions • Recommend modernization options • Identify new business opportunities • Cultivate relationships with other teams and stakeholders • Maintain and upgrade mainframe automation environments • Perform z/OS automation software conversion and transformation • Create integrations between z/OS automation software and other platforms or tools • Install, customize, and upgrade GDPS • Integrate new systems into existing GDPS environments • Implement, test, and validate Hyperswap • Develop disaster recovery and high-availability processes • Prepare and validate software and hardware upgrades • Create and maintain automated solutions using change and incident tools

🎯 Requirements

• Deep knowledge of automation tools such as Broadcom OPS/MVS, MainView Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, and System Automation • Deep REXX programming knowledge • Experience maintaining and upgrading systems • Experience with z/OS automation software conversion and transformation • Ability to integrate z/OS automation software with z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, and other platforms or tools • Experience installing, customizing, and upgrading GDPS • Ability to implement, test, and validate Hyperswap • Knowledge of disaster recovery and high-availability processes • Ability to prepare and validate software and hardware upgrades for mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, and MQ • Knowledge of change and incident management tools • AI knowledge and practical implementation experience • Ability to converse in English and/or Spanish • Preferred: mainframe modernization • Preferred: mainframe integration with hyperscaler solutions • Customer-focused, inclusive, growth-oriented approach
