• Provide technical support for L3Harris FAA programs and systems, including FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, and WMSS • Install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventative maintenance on networking and telecommunications equipment • Work at customer remote locations, indoors and outdoors, within the assigned area • Travel to remote sites within the assigned area and occasionally outside the assigned region to support FAA customer needs • Work directly with the NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk by phone to resolve field issues • Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, truck stock inventory, and personal or company vehicle • Document work performed and customer-site events • Prepare for assigned tasks before dispatch • Follow L3Harris and program-specific policies and procedures with the supervisor/ASL
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust / Public Trust Clearance • Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record • Willing to travel up to 100% of the time to remote sites within a 3-hour drive circle of base location • Ability to work independently with little supervision • Ability to work scheduled and on-call capacity, including outside regularly scheduled hours • Ability to read, understand, and follow equipment drawings and task orders • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lift items up to 32 lbs. and use ladders and step stools to reach approximately 10 feet • Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Wireless, or A+ preferred • Working knowledge of cable connectors including RJ-11, RJ-45, DB-25, V.35, and RS-449 • Excellent working knowledge of fiber, multiplexers, network topology, Frame Relay, Fractional T-1, SONET, ATM, Private Line, and voice/data applications • Working knowledge of AC/DC power testing, including 3 Phase AC, and 24VDC/48VDC power supplies • Experience with T1, DS3, BERT, and analog VG testing within Bell Core standards • Experience using network test equipment such as JDSU HST, Ameritech AM5XT, Sage 935, digital oscilloscopes, Halcyon 704A, and Para-scope or other T1/DS3 test sets • IP-based knowledge and experience configuring routers and switches • Experience installing equipment racks
