📋 Description

• Provide scientific and technical expertise to customers and internal business units • Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical and specialty testing • Review clinical protocols and determine testing needs • Develop analytical strategies within a global laboratory network • Support global analytical harmonization initiatives through strategy guidance, data review, and expansion efforts • Participate in scientific exchange with sponsors, laboratories, and internal personnel • Review clinical data, harmonization trending, reference ranges, abnormal flagging, and critical value reporting • Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate client escalations and technical issues • Provide acceptable solutions within expected timelines • Support scientific requests from departments including Client Services and Business Development Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related health field discipline • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in central lab/clinical research • At least 2+ years of relevant bench experience • Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Certification highly desired • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to exercise independent judgment in review of protocols, testing strategy, and clinical objectives • Ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to clients and internal decision makers • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently • Familiarity with CLSI guidelines and application of standards in a global central lab environment • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to apply basic concepts of statistical analysis • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, and database software
