📋 Description

• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, community oncology practices, and health and hospital systems • Develop, update, and deliver scientific and medical education, including slide decks, abstracts, manuscripts, and clinical data presentations • Lead and coordinate scientific engagement at national and regional congresses, symposia, grand rounds, and continuing medical education (CME) programs • Serve as a subject matter expert for commercial, market access, clinical development, and marketing teams • Provide scientific updates and educational briefings to internal stakeholders • Identify opportunities for strategic KOL engagement, educational initiatives, clinical research collaborations, and healthcare-system outreach • Serve as Medical Affairs lead for Clinical Advisory Boards, including planning, agenda development, and facilitation • Capture and translate advisory-board and field insights into actionable medical and business strategies • Maintain expertise in oncology care pathways, cancer patient-management algorithms, molecular testing strategies, LDTs, and biomarker-driven diagnostics • Respond to complex medical and scientific inquiries and document them in CRM systems • Support scientific evidence generation, abstract development, and manuscript preparation • Capture and communicate voice-of-customer insights to inform medical strategy, product development, and cross-functional decisions • Travel extensively within the assigned territory and to national meetings and conferences • Perform other duties supporting Medical Affairs objectives and organizational priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 3 or more years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry with PhD or PharmD • Subject matter expertise in cancer genomics • Knowledge of biomarker/therapeutic development • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, time-management skills, and personal initiative • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a home-based environment and manage multiple priorities • Strong teamwork orientation • Self-directed, highly motivated, and adaptable within a dynamic, evolving environment • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and to national meetings and other meetings, up to 75%
