📋 Description

• Serve as a scientific and clinical expert between Labcorp Cardiology/Neurology and Rare disease business and key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, major medical associations, and academic centers • Disseminate, clarify, and educate on pertinent scientific and clinical information related primarily to rare disease • Establish long-term science-based relationships with key opinion leaders • Provide educational support to providers, payers, and advocates on Labcorp products and rare disease testing • Develop and build strategic relationships with high-level KOLs • Work with healthcare providers, investigators, collaborators, influential clinicians, KOLs, and advisory boards • Provide educational support for the field sales group and internal partners on Labcorp rare disease products • Work with payer and insurer Medical Directors and professional organization guideline committee members on product usage and coverage • Develop multi-channel medical educational activities and tools with marketing, including speaker programs, slide decks, and CME events • Participate in rare sales team training • Collaborate with the scientific communications liaison to create appropriate content • Attend scientific conferences and complete meeting summaries for senior leadership and marketing • Participate in product development conversations and messaging • Conduct in-person visits and virtual meetings • Travel primarily within the US, with possible international travel

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics • American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification • 2 years or more clinical genetic counseling experience • 1 year or more clinical genetic counseling experience within rare diseases specialty • Familiarity with key aspects of Rare disease market • Working knowledge of molecular diagnostic technologies preferred • Ability to travel up to 50% • Ability to work from home office 50% • Highly organized, including excellent time management skills • Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong computer skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
