• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, academic institutions, community oncology practices, and health and hospital systems • Develop, update, and deliver scientific and medical education, including slide decks, abstracts, manuscripts, and clinical data presentations • Lead and coordinate scientific engagement at academic and professional forums, congresses, symposia, grand rounds, and CME programs • Serve as a subject matter expert for commercial, market access, clinical development, and marketing teams • Provide scientific updates and educational briefings to internal stakeholders • Identify strategic KOL engagement opportunities, including educational initiatives, clinical research collaborations, and outreach to healthcare systems, academic institutions, health and hospital systems, and payer stakeholders • Lead Clinical Advisory Boards through strategic planning, scientific agenda development, and facilitation of expert discussions • Capture advisory board insights and translate them into actionable medical and business strategies • Generate scientific insights through KOL, focus group, and advisory interactions • Maintain expertise in oncology care pathways, cancer patient-management algorithms, molecular testing strategies, LDTs, and biomarker-driven diagnostics • Respond to complex medical and scientific inquiries and document interactions in CRM systems • Support scientific evidence generation and dissemination, including research initiatives, abstracts, and manuscripts • Capture and communicate voice-of-customer insights to inform medical strategy, product development, and cross-functional decisions • Travel extensively within the assigned territory and to national meetings and conferences • Perform other duties as assigned to support Medical Affairs objectives
• 3 or more years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry with PhD or PharmD • Preferred: 5 or more years of work experience as a Medical Science Liaison in a diagnostic, biotech, pharmaceutical, or other life sciences company • Preferred: PhD or PharmD in oncology, or precision oncology • Demonstrated success in building champions of company's products • Advanced knowledge of the biotechnology, diagnostics and pharmaceutical industry • Subject matter expertise in cancer genomics • Knowledge of biomarker/therapeutic development • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, time-management skills, and personal initiative • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a home-based environment and manage multiple priorities • Strong teamwork orientation • Self-directed, highly motivated, and adaptable within a dynamic, evolving environment • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and to national meetings, up to 75%
