📋 Description

• Create marketing materials for current and prospective donor audiences • Collaborate with the Development Marketing team, including writers, editors, production stakeholders, and event producers • Design email and web graphics, slide decks, infographics, event materials, and print materials • Create materials and content for the annual fundraising gala, including experiential design elements, marketing materials, videos, animations, and more • Support the Design Manager with photo library asset management • Organize the digital photo library • Source photography and assets for designed materials • Collaborate across departments to generate new asset leads • Center racial justice and equity in donor marketing materials • Ensure cultural competence and alignment with environmental justice priorities in content • Participate in the Spring 2027 internship cohort's development opportunities and training • Optionally develop a Capstone design project from creative brief, research, and moodboard through design and iteration • Adhere to brand guidelines for a suite of sub-brands • Ensure designed materials meet accessibility standards • Take ideas from concept through execution, including research, stakeholder presentations, design, review, and iteration

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States • Applicants must reside in the listed location • Graphic Design coursework, work experience, or extracurriculars • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, demonstrated via a portfolio or work examples • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong research skills • Solid judgment and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to handle multiple tasks • Self-starter • Commitment to racial justice, equity, inclusion, environmental protection, and LCV's mission • Demonstrated awareness of how life experiences influence personal attitudes, biases, and assumptions • Demonstrated commitment to continual learning and delivering culturally responsive services • Understanding of how environmental issues intersect with racism, economic and social inequality in the U.S. • At least two examples of design work or a portfolio via URL in the resume or as a PDF uploaded with the application • Resume must include month and year for experience provided • Successful completion of background check, employment verifications, and reference checks • Preferred: Experience with Dropbox and Figma
