📋 Description

• Facilitate credentialing and primary source verification for initial and recredentialing of providers • Complete and submit provider payer applications and assist with obtaining provider attestations • Monitor provider credentials and related requirements, obtaining current documentation for ongoing compliance • Process applications according to established priorities and time frames • Maintain up-to-date provider data in credentialing databases and related systems • Track provider application progress and follow up with providers and payers • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, insurance companies, and agencies by phone and email • Support internal stakeholders with provider data loading and validation • Create departmental reports for external stakeholders on data and provider records • Ensure accuracy and compliance within all HIPAA guidelines • Work under the supervision of the Manager of Credentialing • Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred • 2+ years of work experience with provider enrollment/credentialing preferred, but not required • Excellent written and communication skills • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Customer service experience with internal or external customers • English proficiency, verbal and written, required • Ability to sit for prolonged periods • Ability to work on a computer throughout the majority of the day • Ability to use and speak on the phone as needed • Work in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
