📋 Description

• Complete a structured 6–8 week onboarding program through online content and regular sessions • QA legal bill analyses submitted by Legal Analysts • Verify compliance with each client’s Outside Counsel Billing Guidelines • Use proprietary software to review, correct, and finalize analyses • Rewrite persuasive narratives explaining excessive or non-compliant charges • Verify the accuracy of expenses and disbursements • Own deadlines and deliver work promptly • Run monthly coaching sessions for assigned Legal Analysts • Help Legal Analysts improve the quality and consistency of their work • Report directly to the Director of Outside Counsel Spend Analysis • Help develop and elevate the Legal Analysts team

🎯 Requirements

• U.S.-based licensed attorney in good standing • 5+ years at a large law firm that bills clients hourly • Deep understanding of legal billing practices, law firm operations, and outside counsel guidelines • Commitment to accuracy and ethical billing standards • Highly proficient with software and curious about emerging tools • Exceptional attention to detail and professional skepticism • Comfort working with large datasets and data entry at volume • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to give effective feedback and influence others • Polished, persuasive writing skills • High ownership mentality
