📋 Description

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches • Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations • Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted and clinically appropriate • Be available during agreed working hours and at the end of PMHNP shifts when required by applicable state rules • Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards, documentation expectations, and responsible-prescribing protocols • Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO) in at least one U.S. licensing jurisdiction • Active DEA individual practitioner registration or another valid prescribing authority applicable to the work • Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry • Comfort supervising nurse practitioners remotely, reviewing charts, and answering clinical questions • Comfort exercising independent judgment regarding prescriptions, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal law • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses when mutually agreed and supported by Legion • Commitment to a minimum one-year tenure with the team • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, medication-management, communication, and interpersonal skills • Comfort using technology, telehealth tools, and electronic health record systems • Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care
