• Manage global key accounts and build relationships with key personnel • Ensure internal functions provide high-quality customer service to global hyperscale accounts • Monitor incoming orders and ensure effective fulfillment • Hold regular monthly meetings with internal and external stakeholders • Investigate and resolve account queries and issues by liaising with operations, product management, and leadership • Manage accounts through internal and external communication and adherence to channel rules of engagement • Create account business plans, quarterly business reports, marketing plans, sales objectives, and forecasts • Provide senior management with updates on customer-account status and performance • Forecast sales and collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability • Maintain customer records and sales transactions in Salesforce CRM • Assist customers with order status, ship dates, inventory availability, quotes, and sales orders • Assist Global Account Managers with high-level decisions supporting direct sales to large customers and resellers • Analyze key accounts and large opportunities, including revenue, product usage, delivery, and product performance • Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs • Communicate inventory and product forecasting needs during sales and operations meetings • Train and mentor Inside Sales Representatives and Sales Support • Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and goals • Complete required training and stay current with new features and product launches • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Business or a related field, preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience • A minimum of 7 years of advanced support sales or inside sales experience in the information technology industry; data center industry experience preferred • Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred • Effective oral and written communication skills • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and functional groups • Effective listening and information-validation skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment • Solid business acumen and understanding of various business functions • Must be able to travel up to 4 times a year • Ability to travel once a month for face-to-face meetings
