📋 Description

• Seeking an Associate Substation Structural Engineer with minimum 2 years of experience with a utility and/or utility consulting company doing design engineering. • Experience with design of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations. • Direct design of civil/structural design components for bid/construction packages for substation projects. • Perform design calculations and develop construction-grade engineering design drawings, under the supervision of a licensed civil engineer. • Site-visits to client substation facilities are expected, along with occasional travel for client meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering and 2+ years of experience or Masters (MS) with 1+ years of relevant experience • EIT Preferred • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Mathcad software • Experience with STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA 3D, FAD, SAFE, SAG10, and LPile software, (preferred) • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation software preferred • Strong analytical and technical writing skills • Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff • Must be a U.S. Citizen
