📋 Description

• Develop computer programs (primarily using R) to monitor data quality • Communicate with users regarding issues with NHSN surveillance system activities and protocols • Support NHSN users on higher-level questions related to facility set-up, data collection, and running system reports • Organize study files, including data and correspondence files • Triage user questions to infection preventionists and other subject matter experts • Provide help desk support and training for Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) • Identify and create necessary NHSN module/manual updates • Establish program standards, policies, strategies, goals and evaluation plans • Conduct user outreach and education • Prepare and present educational training about NHSN to professional organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related field with 2-5 years of experience • R Proficient, Intermediate to Advanced • Experience working with statistical software programs such as SAS, Python, PySpark, SQL and other data management tools.
