📋 Description

• Experience in executing both substation physical and P&C projects • Performing quality control checks on substation physical and P&C design projects • Expected to read and design substation design drawings • Create and check bill of materials for substation physical and P&C Quality Control Checks Design • Complete Project Lifecycle Support from Scoping to Final Design and Implementation • Applying the Minimum Requirements of the National Electrical Safety Code • Working with Client Standards to Implement Design • Working with a Designer/Drafter to Create the Required Drawings • Attend site visits at customer locations as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree • Eight (8+) or more years of related substation design experience • Engineer Intern (“EI” or “EIT”) professional certification (optional) • Professional Engineer (“PE”) License (optional) • Working knowledge of protection and control design • Experience with bus calculation and grounding studies/lightning protection • Experience with AC and DC calculations • Experience with WinIGS or CDEGS • Experience working on CAD tools • Field testing/commissioning experience (optional)
