📋 Description

• Translate existing on-prem router, switch, and firewall configurations into optimized cloud-native equivalents • Partner closely with internal engineering teams and government stakeholders to author PPSM documentation • Direct compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance • Create enterprise scoped network-level design documentation for technical and non-technical audiences • Troubleshoots on-prem and cloud network performance issues • Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions • Monitor and respond to complex technical control facility and software problems • Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance • Perform system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications • Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • minimum of eight years in network operations, support, and design • US Citizen with an active ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model • Proven experience designing and implementing multi-layer network segmentation • Hands on-experience configuring core routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems • Experience understanding and managing customer expectations • Experience coordinating with multiple technical and operational teams • Experience in assigning tasks to contractor personnel
