📋 Description

• Define next-generation mechanical architectures across General Purpose Servers, High Performance Computing (HPC), High-Availability Storage, Networking, and Accelerator/AI systems for hyperscale and cloud data centers • Understand current and future mechanical and thermal design trends • Architect new mechanical chassis and/or sub-assemblies for future product designs • Understand and model thermal properties of new designs • Develop thermal/mechanical specifications for suppliers • Work with suppliers and China-based Product Delivery teams on mechanical/thermal design execution and development • Collaborate with Lenovo Global Supply Chain to optimize design cost • Advise and consult with the China Product Delivery team on technical issue resolution • Engage directly with customers

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10+ years' experience in Mechanical/Thermal design • Experience using mechanical/thermal design tools including PTC Creo, Pro/E, Flowtherm, etc. • Very strong communication skills • Strong knowledge of Server/Storage Systems and their components • Experience working/interacting with multi-national and cross-functional teams • Fluent in using Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
