• Teach CHUMS 3315 - Rebel Stories • Explore Latin American women’s participation in society as a catalyst for change • Engage students with works of influential writers and activists • Examine perspectives, experiences, and values of women across Latin America • Draw on a range of sources, including literature, history, sociology, personal narrative, interviews, and movies
🎯 Requirements
• Master's degree in Latin American Studies, Hispanic Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, or a closely related field (required) • PhD or terminal degree (preferred) • Demonstrated expertise in Latin American history, literature, culture, and/or gender studies • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level, preferably in an online or asynchronous environment • Commitment to student-centered, inclusive, and equitable teaching practices • Experience facilitating engaging online discussions and fostering student interaction in asynchronous courses • Experience using learning management systems and instructional technology to support online teaching and learning • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
