📋 Description

• Provide vision to transform user experience across Levi's products and services • Champion design thinking and UX best practices across the organization • Set and maintain design quality standards, including critique, design reviews, and the design system • Tie design work to business results and use metrics to set priorities • Adapt the team's workflow to changing AI technology • Lead design of AI-powered experiences for consumers and associates • Direct rapid creation and iteration through storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, prototypes, and other methods • Develop new experiences, paradigms, patterns, training, and resources • Use varied inputs to identify customer problems and define solutions • Influence and implement design thinking with VP+ executives • Drive cohesive UX vision across store, associate, planning, merchandising, and wholesale tools • Guide the team on broad exploration versus deep experience design and MVP boundaries • Recruit, develop, and retain a multidisciplinary UX team of 12 • Invest in team culture, health, and inclusivity • Report to the VP, Product Management & User Experience • Partner with product, engineering, merchandising, marketing, and brand creative teams across regions and functions

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a design-related field such as Interface Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience in UX or product design roles with an emphasis on global e-commerce and global retail • 5 years of people management experience • Experience with AI prototyping and coding tools (e.g., Lovable, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) • Experience with web, app, and in-store channels • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries, domains, and geographies • Deep understanding of the needs and culture of UX creative disciplines • Experience working directly with brand and creative teams, in addition to UX • Compelling and confident storytelling • Strong eye for design and ability to provide effective critique • High standards for interaction and visual detail • Portfolio showing work led and the business results it drove • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire • Must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship
