📋 Description

• Conduct instructional activities according to university standards • Teach approved curriculum on schedule • Provide timely feedback on assignments and student correspondence • Maintain and report student grades and attendance • Report course availability using prescribed school methods • Maintain current personnel and professional data in university databases • Conduct self-evaluations • Monitor the HSOG Communication Center and assigned Instructional Mentor’s channel • Complete FERPA, Title IX, and other assigned training on time • Support curriculum development and conduct assessment activities as assigned • Teach foundational pre-law subjects including torts, property, contracts, criminal and civil procedure, and legal reasoning • Develop students’ logic, critical analysis, ethical decision-making, constitutional law knowledge, and LSAT-oriented analytical thinking • Integrate biblical principles with legal studies and explore faith’s relationship to law, justice, and public policy

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) • Demonstrated strengths in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate level • Appropriate mentoring and interpersonal skills • Organizational skills that facilitate the completion of assignments and tasks in a timely and accurate manner • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems • Commitment to Liberty University’s goals and values • Active commitment to and experience of personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview
