📋 Description

• Teach in areas of expertise • Maintain the integrity of course and instructional programs • Ensure instructional delivery aligns with the University mission, vision, and student experience • Create an academic atmosphere of mutual respect and consideration for individual dignity • Aid in curriculum development in residential and distance education environments • Engage in research, scholarship, or creative activity as expected by the respective college or school • Provide service to students and the professional discipline

🎯 Requirements

• Teach in the faculty member’s areas of expertise • Model a personal commitment to Liberty University’s goals and values • Engage in personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview • An earned doctoral degree or terminal master’s degree at an accredited institution in an area relevant to the faculty member’s area of teaching is preferred but not required • A professional certificate (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not required • Assistant Professors are contracted for 10, 11, or 12 months (30, 33, or 36 load hours, respectively)
