📋 Description

• Advise ads engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues throughout the product development lifecycle • Counsel teams on privacy and data protection matters related to ad tech, including GDPR and CCPA compliance • Advise on content regulation matters, including ads content policies and enforcement • Advise on marketing matters related to the B2B ads business • Monitor and provide guidance on evolving international privacy, consumer protection, and technology regulations in the ad-tech space • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Ad Sales and Ads Product Managers • Report to the Deputy General Counsel for Product & Privacy and collaborate with Marketing, Comms, Infrastructure, Finance, Product, Privacy, Engineering, and Devices teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience in product counseling and privacy counseling in the ad-tech space is a prerequisite • Experience directly advising software product managers and engineers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment • Experience advising software product managers and engineers on consumer protection matters • J.D. from an accredited law school • Membership in at least one state bar • CIPP/US certification preferred
