📋 Description

• Conduct daily concurrent reviews of medical records to identify missing, vague, and/or incomplete diagnoses and procedures • Conduct timely follow-up reviews of clinical documentation to ensure issues discussed and issued queries have been answered by providers • Query physicians on specificity of procedures performed and diagnoses based on accepted coding guidelines, clinical expertise, and LifePoint Health query policy • Participate in department and facility Quality and Performance initiatives • Maintain education record meeting minimum corporate CEU requirements • Maintain a clean workstation and follow safety regulations, Code of Conduct and ethics, customer service standards • Attend hospital training and departmental staff meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing • Three years of clinical work experience required in emergency room &/or ICU setting • Active RN license • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
