📋 Description

• Conduct daily concurrent reviews of medical records to identify missing, vague, and/or incomplete diagnoses and procedures • Conduct timely follow-up reviews of clinical documentation to ensure discussed issues and issued queries have been answered by providers • Query physicians regarding specificity of procedures performed and diagnoses based on accepted coding guidelines, clinical expertise, and Lifepoint Health query policy • Participate in department and facility Quality and Performance initiatives • Maintain education records and meet minimum corporate CEU requirements • Maintain a clean workstation and follow safety regulations, Code of Conduct and ethics, customer service requirements, hospital training, and departmental staff meetings • Work with critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision • Work effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing • Three years of clinical work experience required in an emergency room and/or ICU setting • Active RN license • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action • Ability to follow accepted coding guidelines and Lifepoint Health query policy
