📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure and Security team, currently consisting of four people • Provide hands-on, structured people management, including regular 1:1s, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and ongoing individual development tracking • Transform the Information Security function from an operational role into a strategic one • Automate manual infrastructure processes, eliminating operational dependencies and reducing risk • Plan and oversee AWS infrastructure architecture in collaboration with the specialist already on the team • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising performance • Define and track availability, performance, and security metrics • Implement observability and incident response practices • Collaborate with Development and Product teams to ensure infrastructure scales with business demands • Lead the team’s performance management and technical and behavioral development • Report directly to the CTO, providing technical insight for strategic technology decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field • Strong experience managing infrastructure and/or information security teams • Track record of working in fast-growing, high-scale environments • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure architecture, particularly AWS • Proven track record delivering infrastructure process automation initiatives • Experience with hands-on people management, including 1:1s, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and team development • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure architecture • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation • Knowledge of information security practices and risk management • Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident response • Knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps • Knowledge of Agile methodologies applied to technical team management • Strong technical background combined with management expertise • Automation-oriented mindset • Strategic thinking and results orientation • Genuine commitment to and involvement in the development of team members • Ability to rethink processes and increase the maturity of an existing function • Clear communication with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership • Cloud (AWS) or information security certifications are a plus • Experience increasing the maturity of information security functions in technology companies is a plus • Experience in regulated environments or environments with compliance requirements, such as Open Finance, is a plus • AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect or Security, are a plus
