📋 Description

• Prepare, analyze, and report on financial statements and supporting schedules according to accounting and reporting calendars • Participate in accounting close, including journal entries and account reconciliations • Conduct financial analysis on consolidated and business unit results • Provide ongoing support to business unit teams and other partners • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments and assess their impact • Collaborate with management to incorporate trends and developments into current and future solutions • Identify and research reporting issues related to accounting principles, standards, NAIC rules, and other regulations • Prepare, review, and file quarterly and annual Statutory NAIC financial statements and regulatory filings • Support organizational, change-management, departmental, and enterprise initiatives • Identify and communicate process improvements that reduce workload or improve quality • Support coordination of SOX, MAR, and regulatory testing for key controls • Prepare and/or review internal management reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • 1 - 3+ Years of experience in Financial Analysis or Reporting aligned with the position’s responsibilities • CPA preferred, not required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to identify and recommend process improvements • Ability to meet deadlines • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Prior insurance/financial services experience preferred • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, SAP Business Objects, PeopleSoft, Workiva, or Sovos Statutory Reporting (Wings) preferred
