📋 Description

• Perform routine and progressively more non-routine workers compensation and subrogation assignments independently • Support workers compensation and subrogation liens pursued by vendors • Communicate with responsible parties, insureds’ agents, vendors, and attorneys to obtain and provide information • Evaluate subrogation potential and triage matters internally or submit claims to the appropriate vendor • Support vendor settlement negotiations and escalate liens when settlements would reduce the lien by more than one-third • Respond to pay-history, information-update, and document requests • Communicate pending subrogation matter status as required by statutes, regulations, and service standards • Apply refund checks in claims systems and process vendor expense payments within established authority • Prepare ASO checks for employers with appropriate template letters • Adhere to applicable statutes, regulations, and company protocols

🎯 Requirements

• High School or GED • 3–5+ years of claims/liability experience in group insurance • For candidates with an Associate degree or above, 0–1 year claims/liability experience directly aligned to the role’s responsibilities • Ability to interpret and apply common-sense understanding to varied written, oral, or diagram instructions • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Must comply with applicable statutes, regulations, and company protocols
