📋 Description

• Analyze existing Laboratory tour and protocol resources • Design, develop, and create a SharePoint site, AI assistant, and supporting process for internal use • Develop automated datasets and Power BI dashboards to display upcoming tours and visits • Develop a secure AI assistant to support protocol tasks • Create a procedural notebook for ongoing administrative management of the site, dashboard, and AI assistant • Train department staff on use and maintenance of the new tools • Support testing, documentation, user feedback collection, and continuous improvement activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eligible to access the Laboratory in compliance with Section 3112 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) • Must be a college or university student in good academic standing enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field • Experience developing AI-enabled applications or using large language model APIs • Experience with programming or software development • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint site design, Power Automate, Power BI dashboard development, or Microsoft Graph • Experience documenting technical processes and training nontechnical users • Experience in event operations, protocol, communications, or business-process improvement for a national laboratory • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills • Must be a U.S. person: U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. national, or U.S. protected individual • Assignments longer than 179 days require completion and approval of a federal background investigation • External applicants selected for the position must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
