LOVB Minnesota kicked off its inaugural season with a roster combining Minnesota standouts and international players; it sits within a larger network that runs 90 clubs, 105 locations, training centers, thousands of teams, players, and coaches. The LOVB organization also operates a foundation to increase access to volleyball, sells tickets and merchandise, and produces media/insider content for fans.

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day content creation and publishing across LOVB Youth social channels • Ideate and produce social content amplifying club, athlete, tournament, and community stories • Transform submitted photos and videos into polished, on-brand social content • Capture and edit photo and short-form video content using mobile and desktop editing tools • Write social media captions following LOVB brand voice and content guidelines • Schedule and publish approved content according to social calendars and processes • Support social content collection and publishing during youth volleyball tournaments, club events, and LOVB activations • Capture timely photo and video content showcasing athletes, clubs, competition, fans, and event experiences • Edit and prepare content in real time for event coverage • Coordinate with Youth Marketing and event partners on content priorities and coverage • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community engagement • Track emerging social media trends, platform features, youth volleyball conversations, and cultural moments • Identify club, athlete, and community stories for amplification • Gather basic social performance information and audience engagement observations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including current content formats and platform conventions • Experience capturing and editing engaging photo and video content • Experience creating short-form social video using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut • Experience with light graphic design and photo editing using Canva, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools • Strong writing skills for concise and engaging social media captions • Strong understanding of youth and club volleyball culture • Ability to identify social trends and translate them into content ideas • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently while seeking feedback and direction • Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field preferred • Previous internship, academic, freelance, volunteer, or professional social media content experience preferred • Demonstrated experience creating and editing short-form photo and video content for social platforms • Knowledge of or experience within youth, club, or collegiate volleyball strongly preferred • Application must include a Gondola account link or social media portfolio demonstrating relevant content creation experience • Ability to operate computers, mobile devices, camera equipment, video conferencing tools, and related peripherals • Ability to communicate clearly via video, phone, and written channels • Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week • Occasional travel required January–July • Must be able to work remotely from the United States
