📋 Description

• Identify and research media opportunities, reporter requests, commentary opportunities, industry trends, and relevant news cycles • Research journalists, media outlets, podcasts, newsletters, and speaking opportunities to maintain targeted media lists • Support press releases, company announcements, and executive communications by researching information, preparing materials, and drafting initial content • Research award programs, speaking opportunities, and executive visibility opportunities • Conduct background research, compile statistics, fact-check information, and support report development • Track and report on PR performance, media coverage, outreach efforts, and campaign results • Maintain PR calendars, media databases, coverage archives, and other organizational resources • Support special communications projects across Lower and Movoto

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, business, or a related field • Junior or Senior standing is preferred but not required • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills with attention to detail • Curious about media, storytelling, and brand awareness • Comfortable researching unfamiliar topics and turning information into clear, compelling content • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment • Interest in housing, real estate, finance, or technology industries is a plus • Experience with writing, journalism, social media, content creation, or communications is a plus
