• The Teacher Education Department is seeking talented per-course instructors for our masters and certificate programs in elementary and secondary education (undergraduate and graduate), literacy education (Reading specialist, Literacy Teacher, ESOL), Kodaly Music Education, Montessori, and Curriculum & Instruction for Social Justice. • Courses may be offered in face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online formats. • We seek experienced educators with a passion for education who can combine real-world experience with theoretical understandings of the field. • Specific course needs vary from semester to semester. • This pool will be accessed ONLY when an opening arises.
• Successful candidates must have a master’s degree or higher in a field related to the subject they wish to teach. • Applicants should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a teacher or educational leader, or equivalent experience in a related field. • Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred. • Prior experience with online education and specific tools used at Loyola, including Zoom and Moodle, also is preferred.
