📋 Description

• Balance and release various check runs • Complete root cause analysis for delays or kickouts • Assist with the Workday special check run process • Handle lockbox payments end to end • Enter, research, apply, and/or return provider refunds • Review daily cash forecasts • Research customer complaints • Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects • Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications • Perform technical and/or non-technical business-related projects • Create and deliver a presentation at the completion of the internship • Support the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission, values, Corporate Code of Conduct, and Lifetime Way values • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy • Maintain regular and reliable attendance • Perform other functions as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar degree program • High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program • Must be in good academic standing • Preferred experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Strong attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to completing assigned tasks • Commitment to continuous improvement • Ability to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment • Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation, viewing a computer and using keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time • Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed
