• Manually remove vegetation from work areas • Apply pesticides • Safely operate forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs • Perform utility line clearance, pruning, and removals • Work off-road on utility rights-of-way to remove and maintain vegetation protecting the power grid • Learn felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management • Work full-time, year-round in an outdoor physical-labor role
• Must be 18 years of age • High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly • Current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation • Ability to work outside in various types of weather • Physical ability to walk on uneven ground and carry 75 lbs. • Willingness to work at varying heights • Willingness and ability to learn how to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely • Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL A or B license • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications as required by the position • Successful completion of a post-offer physical and drug screen • Successful completion of a background and motor vehicle check
