📋 Description

• Remove vegetation manually from work areas • Apply pesticides • Safely operate forestry equipment including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs • Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals • Work off-road on utility rights of way to remove and maintain vegetation protecting the power grid • Learn and perform felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management • Complete required training, licenses, and certifications to advance in the tree-care industry

🎯 Requirements

• No tree industry experience necessary • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly • Must be 18 years of age • High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent • Current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation • Ability to work outside in various types of weather • Physical ability to walk on uneven ground and carry 75 lbs. • Willingness to work at varying heights • Willingness and ability to learn to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely • Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL A or B license • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications required by the position • Successful completion of a post-offer physical and drug screen • Successful completion of a background and motor vehicle check
