• Perform manual removal of vegetation from work areas • Apply pesticides • Safely operate forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs • Perform line clearance, pruning, and tree removals • Learn felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management • Learn to operate bucket trucks and equipment safely • Work outdoors in varying weather and at varying heights • Complete paid hands-on on-the-job training and educational courses
🎯 Requirements
• No tree industry experience necessary • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly • Must be 18 years of age • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation • Ability to work outside in various types of weather • Physical ability to walk on uneven ground and carry 75 lbs. • Willingness to work at varying heights • Willingness and ability to learn bucket truck and equipment operation • Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL A or B license • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications required by the position • Successful completion of post-offer physical, drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle check
