📋 Description
• Manually remove vegetation from work areas • Apply pesticides • Safely operate forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs • Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals • Learn and perform felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management • Learn to operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely • Participate in paid hands-on on-the-job training and educational courses
🎯 Requirements
• No tree industry experience necessary • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly • Must be 18 years of age • High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent • Current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation • Ability to work outside in various types of weather • Physical ability to walk on uneven ground and carry 75 lbs. • Willingness to work at varying heights • Willingness and ability to learn to operate a bucket truck and equipment safely • Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL A or B license • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications required by the position • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screen • Must pass a background and motor vehicle check
