📋 Description

• Produce high quality content for a diverse range of medical communications projects, including extended outlines, manuscript first full drafts, symposia, advisory boards, training programmes, and detail aids • Develop content with minimal supervision, within budget and on time • Use client approval systems as required • Keep abreast of new developments within assigned therapy areas and the field of medical communications, transferring knowledge to project teams and external clients where appropriate • Present work to clients as part of project calls where required • Attend and report on conferences and external meetings as required • Complete sections of proposals without support and present or pitch those sections • Manage day-to-day client communication and relationships relevant to written work • Proactively communicate with clients and internal project teams to manage expectations and foresee issues, deferring to others when appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• A life science graduate (PhD, PharmD or MD Required) • Experience as a medical writer in a healthcare communications agency environment or similar, OR recent graduate of an accredited PhD, PharmD or MD program • Outstanding writing, editing and communication skills and excellent command of the English language • Exceptional attention to detail in relation to both scientific content and editorial standards • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint • Experience of referencing software and database searching preferable • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects relating to multiple products in various therapeutic areas
