📋 Description

• Conduct virtual patient consultations (synchronous and asynchronous, as applicable) • Review patient intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results • Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate, in accordance with state and federal regulations • Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-ups, and adjustments as needed • Document all encounters, decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR • Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support patient adherence and outcomes • Maintain compliance with all applicable telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards • Serve as an active clinical member of LumiMeds’ PC group

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license • Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine • Eligible to practice telemedicine in licensed states • Active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority (for Nurse Practitioners) • Board-certified (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent for Nurse Practitioners) • Meets state requirements for telehealth practice (for Nurse Practitioners) • Licensed in multiple U.S. states (30+ state coverage strongly preferred) • Prior telehealth experience preferred • Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health • Excellent clinical judgment, documentation skills, and attention to detail • Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote-first environment
