📋 Description

• Assist managing editors with the preparation of materials for key seasonal meetings • Input data for new acquisitions and maintain title information in title management system • Coordinate and distribute information relating to sales materials, as well as book assets such as typeset passes and art • Attend weekly supply chain meeting and traffic reprint updates for all imprints, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to production • Coordinate cataloging-in-publication data applications to the Library of Congress with editorial assistants, and submit preassigned control number applications for all remaining titles for each season • Act as production editor on select titles as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years experience in a fast-paced publishing environment • Experience proofreading graphic novels preferred • Working knowledge of illustrated book process • Excellent computer skills and verbal and written communication skills • Basic proofreading experience preferred • Digital markup experience preferred • Bachelor's degree
