📋 Description

• Prepare and format manuscripts, including front matter and tables of contents, for custom publishing projects • Conduct photo research and compile informational spreadsheets for production tracking • Proofread manuscripts and course materials for accuracy, consistency, and style compliance • Track permissions invoices and approvals and provide additional permissions support • Set up and maintain Jira tickets for project management and status tracking • Support ePub publication by reviewing and testing ePub files • Create online assessment questions and test banks • Compile PDF eBook files and review courseware for quality assurance • Distribute ISBNs and update reports and tracking documentation • Collaborate with the Custom Solutions team to keep projects on schedule and audience-ready

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Exceptional organizational skills and close attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and quality review • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of clear, professional collaboration • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat Pro • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal oversight • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a preference for English or a related field • At least one year of relevant experience preferred; student internships considered • Cover letter required • Finalists must complete a proofreading test
