📋 Description

• Manage a team of business analysts to meet customer requirements and business objectives • Monitor and direct workflow for timely and accurate processing • Serve as subject matter expert and train new employees • Interface with internal and external clients and customers to answer inquiries and resolve concerns • Conduct root cause analyses and gather data for process improvements across encounter clients • Implement controls to monitor encounter performance • Provide trending and performance data to departmental management • Participate in full life-cycle development, including requirements analysis, process development and design, and testing • Develop and document workflows, system requirements, system impact analyses, system designs, process analyses and testing • Use SQL queries, data warehouses and internal databases to prepare user-friendly reports • Lead initiatives and projects supporting process improvements, new system capabilities and data/application integration • Provide reporting and analytics oversight and manage critical reports • Provide analysis supporting strategic decision-making across business operations, finance, quality, compliance, procurement and clinical functions • Work with end users and business leaders to define reporting requirements • Monitor critical metrics and inform leadership of potential risks • Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver accurate and timely reports • Lead development and management of operational, financial, quality and compliance reporting • Estimate project feasibility, time and effort; provide project updates • Monitor projects, identify potential problems and guide projects to successful completion • Direct tactical and strategic plans addressing technical business needs • Lead standardization of data processes and business process re-engineering • Lead changes and enhancements to business processes, policies and system infrastructure • Build and develop a reporting and analytics team through meetings, training, coaching and mentoring • Perform programming and analysis as needed • Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Manager/Director

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree ideally in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science or related degree • 5+ years of direct, relevant experience • Candidates without a Bachelor's degree may be considered with an additional 4 years of direct experience, for a total of 9 years minimum • Expert level knowledge of SQL, QlikView, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools • MS Suite power user with expertise in visualization tools • Experience setting up maintainable and scalable processes in a production environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients while maintaining high degrees of accuracy and precision • Ability to think creatively; highly driven and self-motivated • Ability to drive results and deliver on multiple tasks • Experience building, developing and managing high-performing teams • Proven track record of defining and executing key analysis with minimal supervision • Supervisory experience in Analytics/Informatics required • Healthcare experience preferred
