📋 Description

• Provide coverage in short-term, surge and on-demand situations resulting from military needs • Deliver personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations • Provide one-on-one counseling and consultations with commanders, providers, staff, and other stakeholders • Conduct briefings, presentations, classes, seminars, and workshops on personal financial management • Provide referral resources outside counseling sessions • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Coordinate and publicize financial management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle • Use virtual counseling and electronic communication methods when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share trends and issues affecting assigned installations • Participate in training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process • Must hold one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
