📋 Description

• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and best practices across all project aspects • Oversee and manage the development and construction of company projects, including scope, schedule, and cost management • Manage project teams including project engineers, administrators, permitting consultants, product engineers, construction management, and QA/QC • Manage the RFP process, contractor bids, project awards, and scope negotiations • Communicate with stakeholders to manage utility-scale projects from development engineering through commercial operation • Manage site construction managers and QA/QC processes • Oversee site health and safety programs and compliance • Maintain site records and databases documenting inspections, maintenance schedules, and operational changes • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, site owners, and internal teams to resolve site-specific issues • Coordinate documentation required to transition projects to operational assets • Prioritize and escalate issues to maintain the critical path • Coordinate product specifications, submittal reviews, and approvals • Manage project cash flows and report financial health and forecasts to executive leadership • Manage change orders and reconcile them against contracted scope • Direct project turnover documentation, warranty administration, closeout, and records retention • Support communication with city, county, building, fire, and other authorities having jurisdiction on project topics • Provide executive status reports, monitor critical milestones, and evaluate key risks for stakeholders, project partners, and investment groups

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management or site operations within power generation, distributed energy resources, or utility-scale facilities greater than 10 MW • Demonstrated expertise in power generator operation and maintenance or similar systems, with experience across all phases of development • Detailed understanding of contracting, procurement planning, construction and logistics, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting • Familiarity with utility interconnection processes, grid integration studies, and coordination with electrical utilities • Experience navigating environmental review, land-use zoning, and permitting frameworks • Ability to utilize industry tools to track cost expenditures and budget allocations • Ability to travel to job sites 25% of the time • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) • Google Workspace applications • Project management software (Procore)
