It provides a 24-7 platform for anonymous chat support groups, where members can engage in wellness and goal planning, use recovery capital tools, and join theme-based chat groups. The groups consist of people in recovery who share experiences and find inspiration in collective recovery journeys. Marigold Health offers tech-enabled, human-centered support with a data-driven approach, utilizing natural language processing to focus its peer support efforts effectively. Members can also receive one-to-one support from certified peers or recovery coaches. The service complements existing care by integrating with insurance plans and partnering with users' care teams to align treatment options with personal recovery goals, ensuring users have continuous support, especially during off-hours.

📋 Description

• Engage a roster of members via regularly scheduled phone/video calls, text messages, digital support groups, and wellness planning • Develop comprehensive wellness plans with members and their care teams using evidence-based recovery screening tools • Bring a peer perspective to the design of digital interventions, technology tools, and trainings • Document work in record systems according to Marigold and prevailing standards • Share personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction to support people seeking or maintaining recovery

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach • Certification in Massachusetts as an Addiction Recovery Coach • Reliable internet access in a private space • Willingness to work evening and weekend hours • Comfort operating a smartphone, computer, and software tools such as Microsoft Office • Ability to document member engagements in an electronic record • Willingness to speak to personal lived experience with mental health and/or substance use conditions • Ability to work independently and understand when to ask questions or request clarification • Demonstrated ability to create wellness plans and/or recovery goals • Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks to meet member needs • Experience delivering peer support digitally is a significant plus • Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus
