• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts • Build relationships with key retail stakeholders • Develop and execute long-term strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify business expansion opportunities • Act as category captain • Lead sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets • Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions • Use data analytics for sales performance, forecasting, and demand planning • Drive joint business planning initiatives • Partner with marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to execute sales initiatives • Optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize out-of-stocks with customer operations, logistics, and replenishment teams • Ensure compliance with customer vendor requirements and maintain high service levels • Develop and implement trade marketing and promotional programs • Create product presentations and sales materials with internal marketing teams • Monitor promotional effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance data • Lead strategic management of The Home Depot Orange Apron program, including planning, execution, promotional alignment, and effectiveness measurement • Establish and track KPIs for sales performance, profitability, and market share • Provide business reviews and account performance updates to senior leadership • Use sales analytics and reporting tools for data-driven decision-making
• 10+ years of sales, national account management, or business development experience in the retail or consumer goods industry • Experience with The Home Depot is required • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience specifically managing a large portfolio of business with The Home Depot • MBA preferred • Strong understanding of the home improvement, hardware, or building materials industry • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies • Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams • Proficiency in retail analytics tools, category management software, and Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel as needed for The Home Depot meetings and industry events • Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate market trends and drive innovation • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior-level decision-makers • Agile problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment • High level of financial acumen and business analytics capability • Collaborative leadership with a results-driven mindset • Required to complete additional job-related screening processes following a conditional offer, as permitted or required by applicable law
