📋 Description

• Remotely review, evaluate and interpret x-rays, ultrasound, MRI, DR, CT, and other diagnostic images submitted digitally • Dictate medical evaluations using Dragon and other dictating software • Collaborate with colleagues through the AIS Hive • Consult with clients and other veterinary professionals via phone, email, text, Zoom, MS Teams and other communication channels • Interact with imaging and other laboratory personnel • Participate in AIS clinic rounds, journal club, employee meetings and professional enrichment • Participate in ACVR continuing education and other applicable CE events • Participate in quality control programs • Maintain proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills and stay current on theories, diagnostic approaches and available veterinary treatments • Assist with veterinary teleradiology and other diagnostic reference laboratory services • Participate in enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent • Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state • Fluency in the English language • Expertise interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong commitment to practicing the highest standards of medical quality while upholding the veterinary code of ethics • Analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to prioritize • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment • Proven ability to work effectively with clients and management is required • Ability to work effectively remotely with minimal supervision • Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging preferred • Previous experience with Dragon software a plus • Previous experience with Dicom viewers desirable
