• Lead, manage, and grow a global team of 14+ trade compliance and trade operations professionals across multiple levels and geographies • Design and architect a scalable trade compliance program for hypergrowth • Evaluate, implement, and test compliant systems, processes, and procedures, including AI-driven automation and tools • Operationalize export controls, technology transfer/deemed export, sanctions, and restricted-party screening programs • Oversee import, customs, trade facilitation, classification, country of origin, valuation, broker relationships, and duty-mitigation programs • Serve as escalation point for ECCN and HTS classification determinations • Own metrics, KPIs, and health reporting for senior leadership • Conduct investigations, participate in audits, and drive monitoring and corrective actions • Support M&A due diligence and integration activities • Partner with counsel on export licensing strategy and regulatory filings • Collaborate with Legal, Finance/Tax, HR, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales, and Corporate Strategy • Direct and execute risk-based trade compliance training and communications • Act as a customer-centric, business-enabling partner and promote trade compliance and ethics • Travel globally to meet stakeholders, conduct training, and improve processes
• Bachelor’s degree required • Licensed customs broker is a plus • Extensive, hands-on experience in trade compliance spanning transactions, technology transfer, and tariffs • Deep, hands-on expertise in ECCN/HTS classification and program management • Proven experience managing and scaling a global trade compliance team • Semiconductor industry or related advanced-technology experience required • Strong business acumen and sound judgment • Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders beyond formal authority • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Experience managing global trade compliance teams, systems implementations, and budgets • Ability to adopt new tools and technologies • Eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. law • Applicants may be subject to an export license review process prior to employment
