📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a psychiatry pod of psychiatric nurse practitioners delivering high-quality, evidence-based care • Conduct team huddles, case reviews, and supervision to ensure collaboration and adherence to best practices • Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention • Collaborate with primary care providers and care management teams to support whole-person care • Contribute to behavioral health program development and clinical process improvement • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing education of clinical team members • Participate in a limited rotating on-call schedule (few times per year)

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry required • Must have Active medical license in Illinois • 2+ years of leadership experience supervising psychiatric NPs or multidisciplinary behavioral health teams • Experience in telepsychiatry and treating adults/seniors with complex behavioral health needs • Additional board certifications (preferred): Geriatric, Addiction, or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
