📋 Description

• Own end-to-end solution design across multiple Salesforce Clouds, including object and data models, security and sharing, automation strategy, and integration patterns • Translate business strategy into a multi-year platform architecture roadmap • Recommend build versus buy versus configure approaches and sequence capability delivery • Advise Sales, Marketing, Customer Solutions, and channel partners • Translate business requirements into technical specifications • Guide internal and partner development teams on best practices, data modeling, automation, and API integration • Lead design reviews rather than perform hands-on build • Provide architectural oversight of third-party delivery partners and systems integrators • Validate use of out-of-the-box functionality and hold external partners accountable to standards • Maintain architecture artifacts and decision records • Establish and enforce standards to minimize technical debt • Evaluate Data Cloud and generative or agentic AI capabilities such as Agentforce • Use prototypes and proof-of-concepts to de-risk significant design decisions • Document current-state architecture, data model, integration landscape, and technical-debt risks • Publish and align a multi-year platform architecture roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years working with the Salesforce platform • 2+ years as the accountable architect on at least two full-lifecycle, multi-cloud implementations • Design ownership across at least three of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and CPQ/Revenue Cloud • Deep knowledge of data modeling, security and sharing architecture, declarative automation strategy, Lightning Experience, and integration patterns • Sufficient depth in cross-cloud integration, Apex, LWC, and API development to review, challenge, and govern developers’ work • Track record of avoiding unnecessary customization and defending decisions with stakeholders and vendors • Ability to align solutions with long-term business goals and enterprise architecture standards • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • Ability to execute responsibilities with limited oversight • Architect-track certification preferred, not required • Preferred Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or B2B/B2C Solution Architect certifications • Experience as an in-house Salesforce architect or in a long-term client engagement • Experience with B2B, B2C, or B2B2C commerce and distributor, dealer, or trade-professional channel models • Manufacturing or consumer products industry background • Experience governing systems integrators or managed-service partners • Practical exposure to generative or agentic AI on Salesforce, including Agentforce, Einstein, or Data Cloud use cases • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, PIM/DAM, or enterprise analytics platforms
