Mason Private Locating is a specialist provider of private underground utility locating and subsurface investigation services. The company performs ground penetrating radar (GPR), concrete scanning, utility mapping, sub-surface utility engineering (SUE), robotic sewer camera inspections, vacuum excavation and cross-bore mitigation to identify and document public, private and unknown underground utilities. Mason serves contractors, engineers, environmental consultants and facility owners with on-site locating, detailed deliverables, and risk-mitigation services to prevent utility damage, safety incidents and project delays.

📋 Description

• Perform accurate underground utility locating services on projects across the country • Properly identify and mark underground utilities • Support priority projects, surge work, and specialized assignments in various regions • Ensure damage prevention and site safety • Read and interpret utility maps/prints • Accurately document and complete paperwork/deliverables for each job • Follow all safety practices and procedures • Communicate with teammates and clients • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years utility locating experience required • Prior construction experience is a plus • Must pass physical examination • Must pass pre-employment drug screen • Must pass background check • Valid driver's license • High school diploma or equivalent required • Ability to read and interpret utility maps/prints • Ability to walk on grass, gravel, dirt, and roadways • Ability to work year-round in all outside weather conditions • Ability to travel to all parts of the US and be away from home for extended periods • Ability to work day, evening, or night hours, overtime, and weekends as required • Standard Monday-Friday schedule with additional on-call and overtime as required • Strong communication with teammates and clients • Commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism
